Essay glaore

So I'm supposed to be writting my essay right now... but I'm not. Ha, and I decided it was about time for an update. My essay is on Ramses the "Great" and even though it is fascinating, I really am unmoitvated to write it. (even though I have to do basically the whole time tonight!)

So I have another poem here (I actually wrote this one first but was oin the process of tweaking it). Thanks to mikey and seana for commenting before. :)

Not Alone

Never mind the Curveballs, Hurdles, and Trials-
Forget the Anger, Pain, and Frustration-
Ignore the feelings of Silence, Alone, and Frightened-
Embrace the Wispers, Comfort,and Love-
Feel the Strength, Determination, and Power-
Because:
You, are not alone.

Meh, it's not the best, but I love the last 3 lines :D.

Nothing is really new in my life... I can;t wait till March Break lol. But that;s basically it.

Later!

Boo-urns to you titles!!

"As though the world were wearing black
And You were wearing white
You love for me shines through Your eyes
Like a brilliant fire
And it's clear to me
You're the only one I see"
Fallen for you - LaRue

Wow, a lot has happened in the past 2 weeks. Well for starters, I got a Job!! At the Bulk Barn. I have already had two shifts and my thrid one is tomorrow. Basically all I am doing now is cleaning, but after I am trained I get to work on cash (I believe). It's pretty darn exciting to have a job and be making moo-lah.

So I've kinda been really interested in writting (and drawing) recently.(Pomes, songs). One day I was bored in Co-Op and drew a picture of two flowers. One of them dead, and one perfectly healthy. This poem kinda came from that picture.

Withering Away
Two Flowers.
One is upright, standing strong and tall
The other-
bent and drooping.
One of them is withering away.

Two People.
One is similing and laughing.
The other-
similing and laughing.
One of them is withering away.

Two People, Two Flowers
Which ones are withering away?
It's not easy to see-
when people mask their suffering
and pretend it's all okay.

Something I have really notced recently, is that people like to mask their pain. As a flower slowly begins to die, we can see it. If we water it, it has the oppertunity to come back to life. However, when people hide their pain, we don't know when they need to be "watered". Keep your eyes open, because you never know when your flowers are withering away.

Who invented the concept of titles?

"Like clay in a potters hands, mould me, mould me. Like a child in a father's arms, hold me, hold me. Like a sparrow afriaid to fly, embrace me, embrace me. This is just between you and I, I love you, I love you. "
LaRue ~ Like Clay

Hello begining of semester 2. It seems like it'll be a good one. I have Math, World History, and Co-Op. I'm actually SO escited for World History. I've only been it to for 2 days and already I'm so hooked. Should be a good class. Math is... well math. And I can't really jugde co-op yet because it's just in-class stuff anyways (boring as ever).

So Graphite is all voer for another year. It went by extemley fast. Our band played so it was definatley my favourite year so far. Although there was some disadvantages because I wasn't in a room with some of my closest friends ( I love you Seana!!... and many others). And I feel I didn't get to spend enough time with them. But I still had an amazing time. Probably the most intense moments for me was singing "Not Be Shaken" and "Take My Life" on Sunday. Also, I really felt like Ross was speaking directly at me this weekend. "Check the expiry date" will forever be engraved in my brain (as will the fact that nothing truly matters in the long run). What a way to bring in the new semester.

Next stop: Kingdom Bound 07!!

Job interview tonight... ikes!

I really, really hate titles....

Currently listening to: Blind Behind the Wheel- Kids in the Way
"Can you hear me, the voice inside your ear
Can you feel me, the wind that chills your tears.
And all of this time we wasted was lost inside of this
Can you hear me, the noise that brought you here. "

Goodbye Exams!! Out of all the exams, my hardest one was probably chemistry. Easiest was *gasp* Law! I was so surprised, it was easier than Travel and for that class I *had* the exam ahead of time. Oh well, I think I did prety good overall.

So currently, I am going through every song on my ipod. Normally I cut it off around like 15 and start again, ha. But not this time. I have 243 songs on my ipod and I am currently on 177. I'm doing pretty good for myself lol. Although I have skipped a few songs that I really don't feel like listening to (only like 5 though....). Hmmm, I think I'm gonna add more songs on today....

Yes, I know I have no life.

Oh yah, and Im back to the old layout. I started hating the pink one, it got really ugly after like a day lol.

Oooh, new song. It's "Cover me" by Mae.... cool beat.

Well I'm gonna go play guitar or something. Later!

TItles are overrated

Titles are overrated

"The Time has come to stand for all we believe in. So I for one am going to give my praise to you. Today's the day it's all or nothing. All the way, my praise goes out to you. All the praise goes out to you. Today, Today I live for one thing. To give you praise in everything I do. Yah all the praise goes out to you."

Wow, long time no blog. It could be because I forgot my login name after I got a new tower for my computer, or it could be because I haven't been motivated to blog it.

Currently I'm in a very nervious/anxious mood. Exams begin Thrusday, and I really just want to get this semester over with. It's been... a bad semester. I'm I'm very excited for Graphite. What better way to fix a bad semester by ending it with the best weekend of the year. To me, there's nothing better than singing and playing my guitar for my God. It's what I love to do, and I for one can't wait.

This is my exam schedule

Thrusday: English
Friday: Travel and Tourism
Monday: Chemistry
Tuesday: Law

My really hefty exams start next week, but I'm still stressing out about them already lol. Soif you could pray for me, t'would be amazing!

New Layout

Currently listening to: The Mission - Newsboys

Okay, so I was bored of the old one, it was all white and plain. Now before you go all "But it's... it's pink!" Let me remind you that I am a girl, and I like pink. So Ha!

Anyways I got the new Newsboys CD for my birthday and I am completley obsessed with this one song called Something Beautiful.

"It's a voice that wispers my name. It's a kiss without any shame. Something beautiful like a song that stirs in my head. Singing love will take us where something's beautiful....
It's a child on her wedding day, it's the daddy that gives her away. Father something beautiful. When we laugh so hard we cry, oh the love between you and I. Something beautiful."

English is completley sucko. It's like english teachers think that this is the only class you get homework in therefore you should pile it up. Uhh, yah... of course. *insert sarcasm here*. But other than mountains of english, I haven't been up to much.

That's about it, later.

Emily.

It's that time again....

So, last Friday it was my birthday, I am FINALLY 16! So this whole year I knew that my mom was throwing me a surprise party, and I always end up finding about surprises. This year however, I didn't know about it and was completley surprised! It was so cool. My friends from school and youth griup and my family was there. It was a very happy. It was on Thursday night, because the friday was a PA day (on my birthday boo-yah!)
So that was my party. Then on friday Sara and Seana came over around 11:30 and we watched High School Musical (my gift from them). At 2:00 we went to pick up Joel from school (he's a little skipper) and we went to see Santa Clause 3 in theatres for my birthday! After the movie we went to Starbucks and then youth group. It was a swell day.

Yesterday Sara begged me into hangin gout with her (ha, I kid I kid...) and we played the Sims 2 Pets, a gift from my brother. It was fun making ugly people and pets Sara! lol.

And tomorrow I have a Chemistry test. Man I detest Lord of the Flies.... with a passion....

Later!
